Cleaning Technician / Medical Equipment Cleaner

We are a fast-growing company and are looking for a team player who wants to grow with us. Our team is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Equipment Cleaner to clean, disinfect, and inspect durable medical equipment (DME). This hands-on role plays a key part in ensuring safety, cleanliness, and readiness of essential equipment for hospice patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in a warehouse, clean and disinfect home medical equipment following safety protocols and infection control procedures. Medical equipment includes hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen concentrators and other home medical equipment.

  • Perform basic equipment checks, minor repairs, and track inventory.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, office and common areas.

  • Use proper PPE and follow all safety guidelines.

  • Utilize computer program to mark assets cleaned and inspected.

  • May unload work vans with dirty equipment daily.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Basic computer and math skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Ability to lift up to 82 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and regularly kneel, stoop, bend, reach, or crawl.

Job Type: Full-time - Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
